Racism
As I think about a battle, Of which my race is weak, A hope which ends in sorrow, A tear descends my cheek.
As your shadow lights the doorway, I discover what I seek. But how can I fulfill it? A tear descends my cheek.
Why must they be so doubtful? How can I plead defeat? After shedding my last tears, I collapse upon the street.
How can they be so thoughtless? When was I in the wrong? Though I alone was brittle, Together we are strong.
